Sasha Smirnova & Feyleryn – Live at Oblicuo \ 17 Dec 2025

Next Live at Oblicuo will feature two artists playing LIVE – Sasha Smirnova and Feyleryn.

Sasha Smirnova is a sound and visual artist creating emotionally charged, narrative-driven performances that blur the lines between memory and nostalgia.

After dedicating her childhood to becoming a pianist, a wrist injury put a stop to her musical path. Following several professional detours, she returned with her debut EP on the Helsinki-based label World Canvas. This summer, Sasha released her first album, Gone Stray, on White Forest, an independent label based in Rome.

For Oblicuo, Smirnova will present an ambient set built from unreleased material, combining digital and analogue textures with keyboard as the central instrument. Her drifting, melodic drones continue her ongoing exploration of longing and the melancholy of places one can no longer return to.

Eugene Freska, also known as Feyleryn creates compositions that resonate with a rich tapestry of influences. His sound merges the boundary-pushing elements of modern electronic music with the heartfelt depth of ethereal-romantic melodies, where the traditions of world music harmonise with the nuances of postmodernism, offering a unique blend of electronic, ethereal, dance, avant-garde, and folk interpretations.

At Oblicuo, his set will explore folk-infused electronica with a cinematic edge.
